The reliability of electronic equipment is ensured by zero-defect processes. This contest that takes place all around the world recognizes the best skills in hand soldering complex printed board assemblies and is the perfect place to discover all new talents of the industry.

IPC provides timely educational events to enhance the knowledge and expertise of professionals in all areas of the electronics industry.
Participants compete to build a functional electronics assembly within a given time (Around 1 hour). Assemblies will be judged on soldering in accordance with IPC-A-610E Class 3 criteria, the speed at which the assembly was produced and overall electrical functionality of the assembly. IPC-A-610 Master Instructors will serve as the judges.
