INFORMATION NOTICE pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 regarding the processing of personal data collected on the occasion of the trade fair Focus on PCB
Nürnbergmesse Italia S.r.l., as part of a process to update its privacy documentation, takes this opportunity to inform you that your personal data, collected when you registered to visit Focus on PCB Home – FocusonPCB, through a specific form, are processed in accordance with the current legislation on the processing of personal data (EU Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter referred to as GDPR and Legislative Decree 196/03 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, hereinafter the “Privacy Code”), in line with the following:

The Data Controller, in line with its internal process of accountability and document updates, in compliance with Article 12 of the GDPR, provides you with the following information notice (to be understood as replacing the one already provided to you during your registration for Focus on PCB) as a measure to provide you with all the information referred to in Article 13 of the GDPR and the communications referred to in Articles 15 to 22 and 34 of the GDPR relating to the processing of personal data.
The processing of personal contact data (and not special-category of personal data) is carried out in accordance with the GDPR and the Privacy Code, on the basis of the principles applicable to the processing of personal data as described in Article 5 of the GDPR (i.e. principles of fairness, relevance, transparency, adequacy, protection of confidentiality and of rights, etc.) and the conditions of lawfulness under Article 6 of the GDPR, for purposes connected with the relationship established with the Data Controller. Accordingly, the legal basis required by Article 13(c) is the performance of the contract between the visitor and the Data Controller (i.e. completion by the data subject of the registration form to visit the Focus on PCB Trade Fair); legal basis: Article 6(1)(b).
For these purposes, the processing of the data provided to the Data Controller for registration to the event, carried out by persons authorised under Article 29 of the GDPR, includes: organising and storing data; complying with all regulatory, tax and administrative requirements that are instrumental, functional, related and/or otherwise useful for establishing and performing the contractual relationship; consultation; use in both out-of-court and court proceedings; creating databases and/or entry in CRM systems; processing; sending operational emails; recording; extraction; communication within the corporate group to which the Data Controller belongs within the limits of Recital 48 of the GDPR; comparison; alteration; blocking; application of restrictions; erasure; rectification at your request; issuing passes or invitations to allow access to the event; preparation of anonymised statistics; processing within and outside the EU (in accordance with Chapter V of the EU Regulation); linking the QR code to the visitor identifier for printing on entry tickets; disclosure to independent controllers or to processors appointed under Article 28 of the GDPR for organisational, accounting and administrative purposes, for issuing the ticket and to allow entry to the Vicenza exhibition centre managed by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG).
In order to inform you about future editions of the trade fair and related services, the Data Controller will carry out “soft spam” communications, to which you may object at any time pursuant to Article 130 of the Privacy Code, either by following the procedure indicated in the email footer or by emailing oppo@nm-italia.it (legal basis: Article 130 of the Privacy Code). In addition, with a view to offering you an ever-improving event, we may send customer-satisfaction surveys, to which you may object at any time by emailing oppo@nm-italia.it and stating “no customer satisfaction” in the subject line (legal basis: the Data Controller’s legitimate interest, balanced against the visitor’s interest in an event better aligned with their needs).
Please note that the trade fair is open to all industry professionals; consequently, photographs and videos (hereinafter referred to as Material) were taken during the event in accordance with Italian legislation governing the acquisition and use of images taken during public events and/or events open to the public. It is therefore understood that the Data Controller will use the Material acquired during the Fair within the limits of Italian law.
Processing may be carried out on paper or by electronic means by persons specifically authorised to process personal data, as required by Article 13(2)(f). The Data Controller confirms that processing does not involve solely automated decision-making and that the data provided will not be disseminated or used for profiling.
As required by Article 13(2)(a) of the GDPR, the visitor is informed that the data will be retained for 10 years (data retention period) for legal and administrative purposes. For all other purposes listed in this notice, the Data Controller will process the data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of collection. If you exercise your right to object, we will comply with your request as soon as technically practicable.
The Data Controller informs you that you are entitled to the following rights set out in Article 13(2) of the GDPR, namely:
• the right of access to personal data and to the related information listed in Article 15 of the EU Regulation;
• the right to rectification or erasure of the data provided, or to restriction of processing;
•the right to object to processing;
•the right to data portability;
• where processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR or on Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
• the rights under Article 21 of the GDPR, including the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation;
• the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (see the website of the Italian Data Protection Authority).
To exercise the rights set out above or to obtain further information about the processing of your data, please email privacy@nm-italia.it with the subject line “exercise of rights under the GDPR”, including your contact details and specifying the right(s) you wish to exercise. Once your request has been processed, the Data Controller will reply to the email address indicated and/or specifically provided for such communications within the timeframe set out in Article 12(3) of the GDPR.
Should the Data Controller suffer a personal data breach within the meaning of Article 34 of the GDPR, entailing a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, it will, where applicable, notify the Supervisory Authority and inform the data subjects concerned of the incident.
If the Data Controller intends to process the personal data for a purpose other than that for which they were collected, it will, prior to any such further processing, first provide the data subject with information about that different purpose and any other relevant information and, where required, obtain consent.
